there was a lot to celebrate today...it's my son's birthday and my guru's.
I was left alone...and went for a walk in the pouring rain.for each raindrop that wet my
face...a thought.a cobweb of thoughts flowing from my mind.I was supposed to be celebrating something very important....

My friend in England talked most often of her transcendent birthday, her very last, but she was in her eighties when I met her. She had a heart attack, and I was with her in a very long and lucid dream. I saw her on the guerney. She sent me back to an office to get some papers and to tell the people there that the matter was of little consequence.
I went, but when I went to take the subway, I had only foreign coins and foreign paper notes. By the countries I could see that they had been saved from the road either to or from China. I don't remember ever seeing them before, but they had my mother's name and address on them, so I knew there was to be a WWII BOOK--the road to india, the road home..
